Richard Fowler spent five years as a
professional photographer working at four city
newspapers and a studio in Illinois. His educational
background includes a degree in Communications from the
University of Illinois majoring in photography and
advertising. Over the last 35 years he has covered
thousands of news, sports, and political events. His
photographic work includes photojournalism, weddings,
architecture, advertising, and portraiture. Among
others, his work has been awarded honors by the St.
Louis Professional Photographers Association. He now
works full-time as a writer and photographer in Atlanta,
Georgia.
